To say I have been around a bit would be an understatement! From my first job as a labourer on a building site, a diving instructor, an IT consultant for Glaxo Welcome and IT Project Manager for Tescos PLC and owner of a number of small businesses through out my working live I have gained what I consider to be an invaluable insight to the way companies are run, both large and small.  At the end of the day there is really only one thing that a business needs to succeed – Customers. There are lots of ways of finding new business and the best way is always going to be by recommendation and referral. But in truth a business cannot be sustained purely on this alone!

Finding new clients by traditional means can be difficult; A vast percentage of the population in the UK has access to the internet and having an solid internet presence for your business is paramount.

Throughout my working years, setting up and running companies, it became apparent that the internet was the place to find new business…… Being one of those techie geeks (with a difference which you will understand when you speak with me) I always created my own sites. It was very much a case of trial and error on whether the site would rank or not.
