Off line it very much depends on the type of business. Service trades do well from leaflet drops and can rely on the results if monitored correctly. On line, you need to really promote your site. There are many ways apart from the google ones you mentioned, google ‘webceo’ and get a free download of a top quality site optimisation programme, backed up with online help and courses, and yours free forever, upgradeable for extra benefits should you feel you need them. Then there’s blogging, works best either if you find sites that relate to your product and allow you to advertise or else by creating a profile with non specific content to your product and putting your link on your profile.
