Does Anyone Know How To Use A Search Engine?

Why is it that so many questions on here are basically asking people to do their homework for them? Does that not defeat the purpose? All you have to do is type in a series of words in any search engine and you will get the starting point of any query. And to those asking the questions..how do you know you are getting the right answer? Do you cross reference or double check? I bet you don’t because you are a) being lazy or b) have left the work to the last minute.
The research and referencing is half the learning process people!

i totally agree with you, thats why we should do something about it. personally i dont give the answer, instead i help with where to look or steps they need to accomplish before getting the answer. i think its really important that when we answer these qquestions taht we help them LEARN something rather than just give them the answer hoping to get the ten points.
i thank you for this question, i hope ppl see it and feel some shame

The reason why they ask here is because they want to simply cut and paste our answer, since it’s already formatted the way they need it – rather than convert the data found by a search engine (or wikipedia) into the form of an answer, themselves. That’s work!
