Sure you can. Just submit your blog URL to http://www.google.com/addurl
I dont understand about above answers..
but i am a blogger since 3years..
i studied a lot on this issue…
if you use http://blogger.com for blogging. Then there is nothing to do to appear your blog in google search.
Google search engine will automatically crawl your blog with in minutes (it will take few days for the first time, and later it will take your updates in minutes)
But there is also a big thing which you need to understand that…
google maintain some typical logic (calculation) to display search results in order.
It means how much relevant your blog is with the keywords entered in google search is an important thing.
if you do blog on music..
depending on the keyword density, page ranking, how regular you are updating your blog etc.. etc.. will taken under consideration.
and google will give some place in the search results..
that means you may not view your blog on first 10 pages (if your topic is so common).
Few things to follow to bring your site on first 5 pages.
1.Update your blog regularly
2.Add much more data than other sites or blogs
3.Use meta tags.
4.Submit sitemap to google.
5.Add your blog to google webmasters and also to some social network sites like orkut and facebook.
6.Add pictures to your blog.
7.Keep commenting on other blogs etc..
You may not understand some of the terms in above points..
Please do google search for those points… coz its not possible to explain here as everything is a special subject..

If you have a Blogger.com Blog then you don’t have to do anything. It will be added to Google Automatically.
If you have a wordpress blog then use the Google sitemap plugin
For any other case Just sign up for Google webmaster tools and add a sitemap for your site.
