Okay first of all I would change to Internet Explorer 8 Beta. It is a billion times faster, unless you don’t want to I guess. Okay first open up IE7. At the top there should be a bunch of tabs:File, Edit, View, ect… Click on Tools. Go down to the bottom and click on “Internet Options” A window now will pop up. Click on the tap that says General. A white box will be right below it, type in the website you would like to be your homepage such as http://www.google.com now it will go to Google.com when you open up IE7

    hey,
    Thats too simple. Dont worry
1)Type the search engine you wish (eg.www.google.com) on the url
2)Go to Tools >> internet options
2)click “use current” on the general tab as home page.
    3)click ok.
and there you are on your page and even the next time you open the browser it will open with google.com as the default home page.
The above would set “google” as your default homepage
    The other way round is
goto tools>>internet options>>general tab>>search defaults>>select the search engine you want (if its not there click on find more providers and set it) >> ok.
    Rock..and smile
