Here are some tips to help your site perform well in the search engines:
    1) Make sure your html and css code validate – use http://validator.w3.org.
A badly designed site may not be properly spidered by search engines.
    2) Use html tags semantically e.g.
H1 – for the main headings
    H2 – for sub-headings
    H3 – for sub-sub-headings
That will help the search engines understand what’s most important on the page.
    3) Every page must have a Title and Description tag. Keyword tags are redundant these days.
Without these tags users of Google won’t know whether your pages are of interest to them.
    4) The first line of code should be the correct DOCTYPE declaration.
That helps search engines know what kind of document they are looking at.
    5) Ask lots of other websites to link to yours.
But only if they are in the same/similar field of interest to your own. The more popular those websites, the better the search engines will think of your site.
    6) Consider using Google AdWords to pay for visitors.
    7) Use bloggers
Ask anyone who blogs in the same field of interest to your site to give it a mention. Blogs get disproportionately highly rated in Google.
    8) Read this article that I wrote.
It’s written for charities but is still useful to anyone else.

    A. Use a frequent key word tag on the website
    B. Pay to have the site sponsored on the search engine
Sites are listed in order of relevance to the customer search query and sites are listed in order or
    · Traffic
    · Members usage
    · Content
    · Frequency of updates
I therefore suggest you consider paying for the website to be moved up the field or improve site traffic.
    All the best
