How Do You Delete A Query That You Have Typed Into A Search Engine?

I typed in my ex-husbands name as I had heard he had become an accomplished writer, now everytime the first two letters of his name are typed into a search engine, his entire name appears as an old choice. I don’t think my current husband would appreciate seeing it. HELP!

Just hold your mouse cursor over his name when it appears and hit the delete key.

right click on internet explorer’s icon. go to internet properties. press the content tab (at the top). press on Autocomplete. press “Clear entries”.
Then you exit that window. Then you right click on internet explorer’s icon. press the ‘general’ tab. press Clear History.
Thats it! I hope I helped!

dont follow danileencarla’s answers. it is really the most stupid answers. You may loose your copy of windows if you do that (format c:). All other answers are correct.

At the top of your homepage, go to tools, internet options, delete files, delete cookies, and clear history. This will erase everything in you history or drop down list.
