How To Change The Default Search Engine In Firefox?
my default search engine is ask.com because of the program that i downloaded. i want to change it to google.com. please tell me.

Click the icon, from the drop down list select manage search engines. Move google to the top.

if you use a mac im sorry but i cant help you but here i go:
there are many things you can do
1)
go to the top right hand screen beside the magnifying glass and click the button beside it you should be able to choose google from there
2)
if google doesn’t show up same thing just click change defaults which should bring up a box. click on find more providers on the bottom left of the box and it will bring up an internet page with all these searches and just click on google.

to get google default search engine in firefox do is
1. left click ask.com logo
2.go to the bottom of the list to manage search engines
3.go to the Google one a move it to the top by click on google and click move up on the rigth then ok
4. you are FIN
Go to “tools” > then “options” then go to the tab that says “main” and youll find where you can put which home page you want there, just type it in =)
(PS “tools” is on the top of your page for the internet here, where it says file, edit, history, etc)
If you are referring to the separate search toolbar, there should be a little down arrow right before the box in which you would type. Click the arrow and a list of default choices will show – including Google.

There should be a small search box on the top right hand corner. If you click on the search engine symbol a list of different search engines (including Google) show up. If that doesn’t work I recommend looking in the Help section.
