Search Engine Problem.spyware Or ?
My husband is doing my head in – he’s running the latest Firefox and sets his search engine to Google – suddenly it pops up with a box that tells him that his settings have been restored to default and shoves the Yahoo search engine back on.
I told him to reinstall but he won’t – he just starts ranting every time it happens.
Apart from valium is there any cure ?
Is it a spyware thing or a setting he’s unclicked somewhere.
Please help I just want to play on my computer without him shouting about search engines next to me…

Click the icon in the search window, a menu will drop down, click Manage Search Engines, remove all the search engines except Google, save. Done! No more cussing at the bleeping computer!

Use Tools/Options
Set the homepage to Google
Set ‘When Firefox starts’ to Use Homepage
