When I Search Using Google, Yahoo, And Other Common Search Engines, It Redirects Me To A Random Search Engine?

Recently, our computer was basically destroyed because of viruses. We got norton and that PC safe thing and i thought it was fixed. Well, even though i still do a complete system scan and fix, it doesnt fix this. When i use google, after i click on the link to a website (even common ones like WIkipedia), it redirects me to random search engine sites. I dont know why! Please help!

what is happening ois that yupur viruses altered your compouter’s host file. what you eill nbeed to dfo to fix it is fairly simple and i am sorry for gramar errors in advanced:
    1) open up my computer
    2) click yopur HD
    3) click windows
    4) search the windows folder for “host” without quotes
    5) then you will get a few results around 4 or 5
    6) open up the one that is a textfile (itgwill open in notepad)
    7) copy the file and past it to your desktop so you have a backup copy
    (***COPY NOT CUT****)
    8) then after the first few paragraphs then it will say examples, after that there should be a bunch of websites there listed, just delete them all and save the file
    9) try again
email me if you have questions, i am limited to waht i can tyoe now
