Which Meta Tags Are The Most Important To Search Engine Results?

Which meta tags are considered the most in search engine results? Keywords, title, or description? I am designing a site and can’t figure out which one of these tags to put the most thought into.

All three, and do balance them, add certain words to ALL THREE, for example, if you sell cameras, and cameras to all three! :)

The description is used, but not the keywords. It’s too easy to abuse the keywords tag, so search engines have given up on them in favor of parsing through a page’s actual content. I think http://www.dmoz.org/ makes full use of a site’s meta tags, but I’m not so sure they use the keywords tag.
The tags are still made use of. It can be to your advantage to include a very short description of site in those.

    Generally speaking, title and description.
