In the college search engine, it shows what each colleges think is “very important” , “important, and “considered”. I all these admission factors, I don’t see AWARDS anywhere. But, awards are still asked for in applications. Are awards any important?

I already know about all the basic search engines, and searching services. But how do the search services get their information? and how can I get, what they have? how can I legally get all of the information that is available on line? what websites do I go to? I know about Intelius, and People Search, and People Finder, and a few others like that. Where are they going, to get their information? I have always heard of people that can get on line, and find out nearly anything on someone else. They say, they can access someone’s latest address through phone records, through electrical service records. Is that true? Can that be done? How? Where? I am trying to get all of the available information that can be legally obtained about someone, on line. I don’t want to have to pay a service, to get something that they can get for free.

Search engines sometimes tend to favor results that might not be the most relevant to the phrase and/or question asked. How about a search engine that would rate the results based on the relevance and the freshness of the data. This would minimize the amount of content that may be a listing, too generic, or in some cases not contain the relevant data.

I heard about a book search engine that find books and order them by difficulty; where can I find something like that?

Can anyone give me more information on writing articles in order to boost your websites search engine ranking? Where would I post the article? Is this a effective approach? I cannot afford a company who offers “article writing”, I would need to do it on my own if possible! Any help will be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Also dogpile isnt like live search, google or yahoo. It doent crawl websites in a url directory, it just goes out and searches all the other best search engines and dispays the top 3 or 4 pages from each engine.
