so lets just say i am going to google (or any other search engine) and searching PS3. if i click the first result it redirects me to another website not the one i clicked on. and i can even copy and paste the link and it still redirects me! what do i do??
hwo come it is doing this??

The tab will say either “jump” or “redirect” and I end up on a search results page for some obscure search engine I have never heard of, or I may end up at a website that is somewhat relevant to my initial search, or I could end up at a website that has nothing at all to do with what I am looking for. I can’t click the search results link and make it to the correct URL. It is driving me nuts. I have all the current updates and have run Ad-Aware and Norton and have come up with nothing. PLEASE can someone help me???

this just recently started happening. i think it actually started today. i thought it might have been the search engine i was using but it does it on several engines. i use firefox in case that has something to do with it

No matter what I’m searching for on google, when I click on a hyperlink it sends me to another search engine that’s completely irrelevant, like yellow pages or frisgo or something

For instance, I’ll type in something like Def Leppard. When the search is finished, I’ll click on the link for the official site and the search engine will go to Jump or Upspiral. Or something else. I can’t click on the link and go to that spot. What do I do?

For example, when I search PSP on google, and I click one of the results, it brings me here.

thats what happens on every link in every search engine.

I do a search for Delta Airlines, Delta’s link appears, I click on it and it takes me to another search engine, that has nothing to do with the search that I want. How can I get rid of this tag out of my computer? And how did it get there?

For instance, I search youtube on google and when I click on the link to go to the site, it opens a new tab (I have the setting to open links in same tab) and goes to a search engine… like ergstx or something weird. What’s up with this?

If I want to suppress a “bad link” that leads to a newspaper article that was wrongly quoted does it do any good to do a websearch and click on the many “good links” to move them to the top, or is this a waste of time?

But it goes back to normal after a little while. I don’t know what’s happening. Pop-up blocker is off and it keeps happening. Please help.
