When I open Yahoo home page and use the search engine for a product and select search, it lists various the many web sites.
Having selected a site and clicked on it to open it, The page will not open and I get :Yahoo results showing???
Please help!
Its the same on the google search engine also

I have a Dell computer. Everytime I search from the address bar, it defaults to a Dell search page. I changed my default search engine in IE to Yahoo, but from when I search from the address bar, it still uses the Dell search page.

I’m what you’d call “technically challenged”. I think it’s called a “Tool Bar”, but I’m not sure. It’s located at the top of the screen, right next to where it reads “Yahoo.com”. This space used to read “Google”, it now reads “Web Search”. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, I’d appreciate some help in changing back to Google.

okay usually when I type in a keyword or something in my address bar, firefox searches it in google.
but now it goes to this **** engine.
how do I change it back to google?

When I first downloaded FIrefox, I was happy at how the place where you type the web address could also double up as a quick search engine. Just type in a phrase, click “enter,” and you’d come up with Google searches.
Recently I downloaded the new Windows Live Messenger, and with that the search engine turned from Google to Bing. I don’t like Bing. Is there a way to turn it back?

You know how when you type something in the adress bar and if its not the site example: yahoo answers and it sometimes shoots you to a search engine like google well mine is on ask.com and i want to go search on google because ask.com is not as great anyhelp on changing it?

I’m trying to change my default search engine to Google, but everything I’ve tried so far hasn’t worked. It still takes me to ‘mywebsearch’ when I type what I’m looking for into the address bar. Help please?
