I just upgraded or something in my Firefox and now instead of having google results when I type something it takes me to shitty Yahoo search engine. Normally when I type something in like “wikipedia”, in Google it’d just take me right to the page. Now it’s yahoo and it doesn’t do that. How do I change my default search engine back to Google?

I realize it’s a kind of ironic I’m asking this on Yahoo Answers, but i prefer google search. I’ve gone to Internet Options, search settings, deleted Yahoo, and set google as my default, but yahoo keeps popping up as my default search engine, and after I do a search, Yahoo pops up again on the list, but google is still the default, yet it keeps using Yahoo, any ideas on how to change it so it works?

I downloaded FrostWire and it somehow changed my default search engine to ask how do i get it back to google?

NOT my default homepage, but rather the search engine for when I type in the address field.

I usually search by typing keywords directly onto the navigation bar, and it usually leads to search results from Google. But now whenever I do that, it goes to a MyWebSearch Search Engine. I’ve tried searching for solutions online, and none of them seem to work. My default browser is Firefox. I’ve already tried the about:config, and the add/remove programs on the control panel, still no improvements. Help?
