For some reason, I can’t get to any search engine on the web. I tried every site, from Google to Ask.com, nothing works. I can get to other sites, like Facebook and YouTube, but just no search engines. If it helps at all, i use Trend Micro AntiVirus plus Antispyware, and it keeps saying that a change was made to “csrss.exe” which I understand is important to my computer. I use Windows XP. Help me, so I can get back to doing work that requires a search engine!!!

Alirght, let me see if I can make this question clear…..in excel, I have created a search engine. I want to take collected data and run it through this search engine without manually entering it. In other words, in sheet 1, I have search fields that need inputs in A1, B1, and C1. After inputting data, the search engine spits out a result into D1. Now, I want to be able to input data into sheet 2 and get excel to take the information and transfer it into A1, B1, and C1 automatically and then I will have a link in sheet 2 of the D1 result.
So now, I can run my search a lot quicker. Does this make sense? Thanks everyone!

My husband is doing my head in – he’s running the latest Firefox and sets his search engine to Google – suddenly it pops up with a box that tells him that his settings have been restored to default and shoves the Yahoo search engine back on.
I told him to reinstall but he won’t – he just starts ranting every time it happens.
Apart from valium is there any cure ?
Is it a spyware thing or a setting he’s unclicked somewhere.
Please help I just want to play on my computer without him shouting about search engines next to me…

I have a new website www.tinyfootball.com and i already write the meta, description and so on. Also already submit at some search engine including Yahoo, Google, Altavista, etc.
But it never appears on Google, and it only appears on Yahoo and Altavista for at least one month after that it won’t works anymore.
Could everyone tell me what’s wrong? And why Yahoo or Altavista only appear my website for only a month?

I will give this question a shot again, trying to make it a bit more clear.
In excel, I have created a Search Engine. It searches through a bunch of data and based on 3 inputs, it spits out a result.
In other words, I have the speed in MPH of a bunch of people based on where they were per second. If you input a time and speed into the search engine, it will tell you the person that was closest to this speed at the given time. So the result is the persons name and the inputs are the time and the reported MPH.
Now, suppose my search engine is in sheet one. In sheet 2, I will have bunch of reported data….a list of times and MPH of how fast I think they are going. I want to know who I thought I was looking at. Therefore, I need all my data from sheet 2 to go into my search engine in sheet 1. I will then get a reported name that I would like to appear next to my data in sheet 2.

Someone borrowed my computer and I don’t what they did!!!
When I log onto a program or go on the internet everything disappears like the search engine and everything and then I have to use the mouse and go up top and then it appears when I remove the mouse it disappears and my start menu is gone when I’m on another programs like right now it is a long site just yahoo stuff nothing about the time or battery date nothing like that

I have antispyware and antivirus Webroot. I’ve ran several scans that pick up cookies. I delete them and I still have the same problem, and the search detects no other viruses.
When I use a search engine like google or yahoo something like myspace will come up if you search it, but when you click the link you are re-directed to advertising sites. This happens no matter how many times I run my systems mechanics or Webroot sweeps. I’ve tried downloading other antispyware free online but always delete it because it’s search also never catches whatever is causing these search engine problems. If my antispyware won’t work and none that I try work I fail to see how I can fix this problem. I’ve posed this question to the yahoo community a number of times in the past two weeks with no good answers, I’m hoping this time I might actually get some help.

I use Google as my search engine and it has started today that whenever the list of pages comes up for what I specify all the links say, “visiting this site may harm your computer”. It won’t allow me to access the links neither. Other search engines seem to work fine. I’m just wondering if anyone knows why this is happening. I use McAffe as my security.
