Yes I know that google has many divisions but how did it make so much money just from the search engine. where did the money come from.
also, why do they need so many server farms for making searches faster.

I already know about all the basic search engines, and searching services. But how do the search services get their information? and how can I get, what they have? how can I legally get all of the information that is available on line? what websites do I go to? I know about Intelius, and People Search, and People Finder, and a few others like that. Where are they going, to get their information? I have always heard of people that can get on line, and find out nearly anything on someone else. They say, they can access someone’s latest address through phone records, through electrical service records. Is that true? Can that be done? How? Where? I am trying to get all of the available information that can be legally obtained about someone, on line. I don’t want to have to pay a service, to get something that they can get for free.

Let me rephrase that, yes it is easier to post a question, but do you get the answer faster than just finding it out through the web?
It’s just a matter of knowing what words to put on the search engine.

People take more time writing a question on YA and waiting and hoping for a decent reply when they could just type their question in a search engine and have many results INSTANTLY.
i ask this question here bc it cannot be found on the internet which is where i always look first when i have a question. I even diagnose myself when i get sick and treat it with natural remedies all found on the internet.
do people still have brains?

I remember that there was this search engine where if you hover over the links, you can see an image of what the website looks like. I would like to know what it is plz.

I’m referring to when you do a search, think you found a good website, click on it and get a page that says “What you need, when you need it” and it’s just another search engine. Do they really expect you to do a search? Do they make money somehow if you do? Is there one central company that owns all the “What you need, when you need it” websites? Why don’t they say something else like “Boy, we sure fooled you, HUH?”?
