The aol search engine is pretty useless, so slow etc, it would be great to have Google there instead when i log in and receive the AOL welcome screen. Is this possible?

I have my business website for over three months now. I noticed that I search for over twenty page on any search engine and cannot find my site. Mind you, my site it up because if I specifically give someone my website, they do get through fine. How could I improve this. An IT guy did this for me. I don’t have a clue myself as to what information was used to publish my site.

When a search engine finds my web site ” http://www.pecanworld.com ” , it displays the title perfectly but under the title are random words from my navigation bar. How can I choose what is displayed under the title by a search engine?
This htm code is displayed under the title line but the engines do not display it. What am I doing wrong?

What costs are involved in getting listed in your search engine so customers can find my website

For example, when I try to look up Mexico in the yahoo search engine and click on the Wikipedia display it brings up it send to a travel site instead of Wikipedia. What do I need to do to fix that? Is it a trojan? This happens with any search engine I use.

I don’t want it as my Home Page or as a separate bar, I use too be able to just type words into the adress bar and it would take me to the correct site now it just takes me to ask.com search results. Someone’s asked this question but it was never answered correctly and was over 2 years ago.
