I heard it helps to have the right keywords on the head of the html code as “meta names”… anyone can help me further?

Hi Everyone,
I have a new website ( http://www.thelowprice.com ). I have added it to the major search engines, but it doesn’t come up in any of the searches. Only if you search for “thelowprice.com” will it come up. I have added META Tags for Title, Description, and Keywords, but it doesn’t seem to be helping much.
I don’t really have much to spend as far as marketing the site via ads, etc, so your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have my own search engine, but I don’t know how the user will see the results on another frame of my site. Please help

If I want to suppress a “bad link” that leads to a newspaper article that was wrongly quoted does it do any good to do a websearch and click on the many “good links” to move them to the top, or is this a waste of time?

Or, is there a way to eliminate the sponsored results from a search using a standard engine?

How do you avoid wikipedia from appearing in your search engine results??? I can’t stand wikipedia, everytime I type in a word to get a simple definition, wikipedia comes up! There has got to be an option to get rid of this problem.
I would prefer to not have to type anything extra, I just want an option to permanently get rid of it. Is there option on yahoo, that you know of, that allows this? it’s really annoying.

When I search for “Red Sox” on many major search engines it says there
are millions of results. Yet when I try to view the results past a
certain number – usually 1,000, it will not allow me to see anymore
results- saying they are too similair etc. I know that there are more
than 1,000 webisites that mention “Red Sox”.
My questions are:
1. What search engine or search engine tool lets me view the full set of results?
2. How can I download the full set of results?
3. How can I exclude duplicate search results from the same website?
If you do not have a search engine or search engine tool that delivers
the full results to me, please do not answer this question.

When a particular information is searched in search engine, and my blog has that information, my blog address must be found in search results.
Please provide some tips and useful guides to find my blog in search engine’s results.

I was in the library with some friends and we were doing some research for some term papers. We all put in the same search criteria into the yahoo search engine and out of the 6 of us only 2 got the same exact search results (after a couple of tries). What would cause this type of anomaly to happen?
