My daughter downloaded a game that had mywebsearch attached to it. We installed a new search (bing) hoping that would help but it hasn’t. When you click on one of the links your search engine brings up it takes you to a spam site about arthritis or orthopedic medicine or one of a couple others. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this?

I was wondering if a My Doom virus is infecting Yahoo system because I could not find my results on the search engine. I have used System Restore to try to restore the system to normal. Is there a way to restore the Yahoo Search Engine site from the My Doom virus ?

My computer picked up a search engine redirect virus. Every time I search things in Yahoo or Google and click on a link it takes me to a random unrelated page. It’s so annoying.
I ran my Anti-virus (AVG 8.5 Free) and it didn’t find the virus. It effects both Mozilla and IE7. How do I get rid of this virus?

I want to know how the Yahoo Search Engine can be restored to normal when a spyware and/or other viruses affected the system. I have been downloading some anti-spyware programs, such as Spybot, to reverse the effects and I want to know what applications I can used to turn the search engine back to normal. I have my Yahoo Search Engine results mixed with different web addresses. Thanks.
